The AAP supremo said that conducting the board exams for more than 6 lakhs Delhi students may become major covid-19 hotspots.
Aravind Kejriwal urged centre to cancel the CBSE 2021 board exams amid sudden hike in covid-19 cases, which is planned to begin on May 4.
Aravind Kejriwal said “6 lakh children are going to write CBSE exams. More than 1 lakh Teachers are going to appointed as invigilator during exams in exam centres. This lead a path to increase the spread of corona. Health of the children are more important thus, I request centre to cancel CBSE exams”.
Adding to this Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal also said “some alternative methods could considered to follow. Children can be promoted this year through online method or internal assessment, but CBSE exams should be cancelled”.
