Kirill has said that India will receive first batch of Russian covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V on May 1 but he did not mentioned how many vaccine will be shipped in the first batch and where they would be made.
In the fight against the covid-19 second wave India is struggling very hard, hospitals are running lack of oxygen which in turn causing mass death of patients, and countries like Britain, Germany and United States have been sending all medical resources to help India to tackle the pandemic.
The world health organization chief, while talking about the situation in India said that “it’s really beyond heart-breaking” and also WHO is planning to provide extra staff and supplies including oxygen concentrator devices.
