Non Banking Financial Companies, Covid rural spread strains micro finance firms


In the advancement of the present pandemic situation of corona virus, India’s hinter land has begun its works to hurt the micro finances and non bank lenders, operating there which potentially impacts the loan recoveries and moving their provisioning in the days ahead. The micro credit sector is gradually recovering it’s first wave when the second wave is struck. Micro Finance institutions were able to collect repayment. The staff of this micro lending were affected it’s time around.
Some if the Non Banking Financial companies like Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services, those were completely focused on the rural and semi urban markets. There are some other micro financial department which about go for a flow of the country. There are some 200 lenders which includes many now banking financial companies, Micro Finance Institutions, Universal Banks, Small Financial banks and some other non banks too.

Sachin Sachdeva, the vice president of the financial sector and head of the financial sector mentioned that “ The industry is witnessing a reduction in collections and the recovery to see in Q4FY21 is being challenged again”.
