Varun Gandhi removed after his Tweets condemning farmers’ killing in UP

Mr J.P. Nadda, the All India BJP Party President announced a list of 80 members of the National Executives of the Party on Thursday 7th October, 2021. The list consists of all the top leaders of the Party including the Prime Minister of the country, Mr Narandra Modi to other union ministers, state ministers and veterans like L.K. Advani and Muruli Manohar Joshi figuring on the List.

However, Mr Varun Gandhi and his mother Mrs Maneka Gandhi were removed from the position of the National Executive of the Party. It is perhaps assumed that Mr Varun Gandhi’s Tweet condemning farmers’ killing in UP have resulted in the removal from Party’s national executive position. This act from the BJP party gave rise to many hot cake debates, where the intellectual society has also criticised the party’s deed.

The BJP Party’s executive is one of the significant body which meets to discuss the key issues of the government and also shapes the organisation’s agenda. The continuous postponement was made for a long time keeping in view the extreme nature of the Covid-19 Pandemic

Meanwhile, Varun Gandhi was not kept quiet. On Thursday itself, he again posted a video on his Twitter handle, where he also attached his own statement. He said in his words, “The video is crystal clear. Protestors cannot be silenced through murder. There has to be accountability for the innocent blood of farmers that has been spilled and justice must be delivered before a message of arrogance and cruelty enters the minds of every farmer”. By his statement, he made it clear whatever may be the situation, he will fight for the farmers in the front line.
