The Indian National Congress Party on Monday, 18th October, 2021 made a fresh attack on the Central government over the unnatural rise of fuel prices which is costing more than the rate at which Aviation Turbine Fuel is sold to Airlines. Going a little ahead, Mr Rahul Gandhi, the former president of the Congress party alleged the Central government for “Tax extortion”.
Popular Congress leader, Mrs Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also took a dig at the Modi government saying that it had in its initial days have promised to the common mass that the govt will pave the ways for those wearing ‘Hawaai Chappal’ to travel by air, but it has hiked the price of Petrol and diesel so much that now it has become troublesome for the middle-class persons to travel even by roads.
Tagging a media reports on the steep rise in the cost of auto fuel, Mr Rahul Gandhi tweeted in a very serious note, whereby he said, “Simple needs of the people that are not being fulfilled today come before election-vote-politics”. In addition, the former Congress President Tweeted, “I am with the people who are being cheated for the benefit of Modi’s friend and will continue to raise their voice”.
Mrs Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also tweeted and said, “Had promised that those wearing ‘hawai chappals’ (slippers) will travel by airplane. But BJP government has hiked the prices of petrol and diesel so much that now it has become difficult for those wearing ‘hawai chappals’ and the middle class to even travel by road”. Going one step ahead, she boldly used hashtags “BJP lai mahenge din” in her tweets.
The Congress Official Twitter account is also not keeping quiet. It is found that Congress Party trying the raise every loophole of the central government to the common mass of the Party in order to gain back their public confidence. Thereby, the Oldest party of the country trying its best to counter-attack the ruling BJP Party in every possible legitimate manner. Through the medium of Twitter, the Congress official account also slammed the Government, “that auto fuels costing a more than the rate at which ATF is sold to airlines was a proof of the Modi government’s ‘loot’”.
