A study conducted by the Ministry of Women and Child Development reported that 53.22% of children have faced one or more forms of sexual abuse. They are subjected to various forms of abusive and exploitative acts physically, sexually, and/or emotionally. It is important to not only understand what actions constitute abuse, but also what needs to be done once you have correctly identified it.
The Legal Aid & Support Centre of NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law in collaboration with POSH at Work is organizing a Certified Legal & Psychotherapy Awareness Workshop on Child Sexual Abuse! POSH at Work is an organization which has been empanelled by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India; they continuously and consistently work towards building a diverse, equitable and inclusive society.
