PM Modi will also unveil nine medical and thirty project worth ₹5,000 crore in Uttar Pradesh during his second visit to Yogi’s state in a week.  UP CM Yogi Adityanath will also be present in the launching ceremony.  There will be provision of virtual participation for the healthcare professionals and staffs from the healthcare and welfare centres at block level and panchayat level, sub-district and district hospitals and Government medical college in Varanasi.

The primary objective of Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojna is to cement the critical gaps in the field of health infrastructure, health research and surveillance across urban and rural areas in order to make them feel self-reliant in handling the health crisis.

This scheme will surely provide a huge infrastructural buck and will strengthen the medical infrastructure of the country. Moreover, this yojna will surely take an active role in the present pandemic and would also make a steep stand in combating the future heath disasters.
