Former Maharastra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh Remanded To ED’s Custody Till November 6

A special holiday court remanded former home minister of Maharastra Anil Deshmukh after 12 hours of questioning , he is taken in custody of Enforcement directorate till November 6th . Deshmukh appeared before ED as he is summoned , he is accused in money laundering case .

Deshmukh advocate Chaudhary contended that first ED said that his name is not as co-accused and just called him for questioning , now they are taking him in custody for 14 days .

He further stated that Deshmukh is a covid –sufferer and has a heart ailment , also has a shoulder dislocation therefore he needs a constant support . Bombay Hgh Court refused to quash summons . ED’s case is based on CBI’s corruption FIR against DEshmukh , where he personally hired dismissed cops to illegally collect money froom bar owners and set target of 100 crores for very month .

He was reported to collect 4.7 crores through Sachin waze . Ed cited the reasons for not adding his name in chargesheet , as he has five times after giving summons not presented before issuing body . Therefore to avoid his non appearance ED played this trick .

However Deshmukh on recorded video  said that he always cooperated with ED .

ED said that Anil Deshmukh has collected money from various companies and put that money in “Sai Sikshan Sansthan” a paper company to color it as trust . A purchase of flat in name of his wife 7 years before and sale deed has been made now when he is home minister . It is clear that accuse played crucial role in offence of money laundering .
